After finishing school I started selling furniture in Melbourne in 1991 for 2 months but when I realised that Saturday work meant giving up cricket, the choice was simple: find a new job!
The result was a ground floor job with Nissan Finance and after working in most departments for 5 years I was lucky enough to join Mercedes-Benz Finance when the company was established in Australia. During my time with Mercedes my roles included Wholesale Funding, Credit Risk Management and Sales and Marketing Management. After an enjoyable 6 years with Mercedes I moved onto ComputerFleet for a 2 year stint in Corporate Sales for IT Rentals.
It was during these 2 years with ComputerFleet I realised that the thing that really drove me and was the most fulfilling part of my role was delivering a great service to my direct clients. As a subsequence in 2004 I began Equipment Finance Broking and have loved it ever since. Being able to sit with a client and discuss what equipment they need to improve their business and why, then getting the right funding facility in place for their individual needs is enormously satisfying.
Outside of the office I enjoy cricket, fishing, golf, AFL and since my move to Queensland am starting to warm to NRL.
